Abhay Deol leads 1962 – The War in the Hills. A Disney+Hotstar series
Disney+Hotstar VIP revealed the first look of “1962 – The War in the Hills” The series will be streaming on 26th Feb 2021 on Disney + Hotstar.
The series star cast is Abhay Deol, Sairat fame Akash Thosar, Mahie Gill (recently introduced), Meiyang Chang, Sumeet Vyas, Bijou Thaangjam. Liao Meng Chi.

The series is directed by famous director, producer and actor Mahesh Manjrekar, he is known for directing acclaimed films like Vaastav, Viruddha.. Family comes first & Astitva.
The series is based on the 1962 India-China war and will narrate an untold story of bravery and valour. 125 Indian soldiers defend a strategic pass against 3000 Chinese soldiers. This was a battle of dauntless courage, fought to the last bullet.
Abhay Deol has acted in the movies like Socha Na Tha (2005), Ek Chalis ki Last Local & Manorama Six Feet Under (2007), Oye Lucky! Luck Oye!
